Tehran-Shiraz-TakhtJamshid-Pasargad-Esfahan-Kashan-Ghom

1-Italy-Tehran

Entering Emam Khomeini airport and transfer to the hotel.

In the morning visiting  the city of Tehran(altitude1150 m) ,it has been Iran’s capital for about 220 years. Tehran is a modern and chaotic metropolis(with a population of 15milion),and full of  glorious interventions(Azadi square) ,wide streets which are the sign of a growing megalopolis .Visiting the city as a archeology exhibition which indicate the trace of the rich history of the city, extraordinary assemblage of handmade clay, glass museum and ceramics in a modern inviroment , a small glass collection but exciting one.Rug museum in a modern house (made by Farah Diba), a whole review of all kinds of  Iranian rugs.In the evening transfer to the airport and departure for Shiraz.

2-Tehran-Shiraz

The day is declicated to visiting of Tehran (altitude 1150m) .The current political-administrative capital. The city has a recent history , only in the eighteenth century became the capital : it is a chaotic metropolis and modern (15 million inhabitants ) the majestic urban intervention (revolution Square) the broad streets of communication in constant growth.

To visit museums there are 2 options:

First option Archaelological museum – Royal Palace of Golestan – museum of jewles .

Second option : Archaelological museum – Royal Palace of Golestan- museum of glass and ceramics.

In the afternoon transfer to the airport and departure to Shiraz. Arrival to Shiraz . Dinner and overnight.

3-Shiraz-Persepolis-Shiraz

Day is dedicated to visit Persepolis and excursion to the city.

Bahar palace was made by Dariush in 518 CE , the first year celebration on the big platform which was made by embossed of the people of whole Fars which was an Empire before Dariush and after Khashayar shah in Iran. The best craft in the world was making a building which has architect ring assemblage and sculpture in Mesopotamia area.

In the afternoon returning to Shiraz ,famous for its gardens and moderate weather , it was the capital of different dynasties, the home of famous poets Hafez and Saadi ,important monuments like Vakil complex(Bazar,bathroom,mosque), Karim khan castle, Moushir inn, dinner and one night stay. 

4-Shiraz-Persepolisa-Esfahan

Moving to Esfahan by bus , on the way we have Pasargad (the first capital of kingdom)  designed by Kouroush the Great in a wide plain, there are some buildings of trial, unforgettable entering ways, King’s private castle. Isolated burden temple and intelligence of Kouroush the Great, Kouroush was under domination. Late evening arrive to Ehfahan, dinner and one night stay.

5-Esfahan

Visiting the most beautiful city among others.Old Iranian idioms said: Esfahan is the half of the world. Many travelers have left the gorgeous parsing of its beauty. All day long devoted to the sightseeing of the desert which has not yet touched from One thousand and one night story. From 1587 with AbbasI the great and Safavi dynasty, the city become very beautiful which can be seen today. In the big square of the center of Naghsh e jahan two arcs occupy the bottom part of industrial workshops (miniature interesting precious shop cloth and turquoise) you can get to the end. 7-Esfahan-Kashan-Qom

Returning to Ghom on the way visit Kashan and it’s famous sand building of 19th century, gardens and Sialk hill. Dinner and one night stay.

Persia, art, archeology and culture

(10 days and 9 nights)

Day1: ITALY – TEHRAN

Arrival in Tehran- meet your guide and transfer to hotel, overnight.

Day2:  TEHRAN – SHIRAZ (air 1000km)

In the morning visit  the city of Tehran (altitude 1150 m.), the current political and administrative capital. The city has a recent history, only in the eighteenth century became the capital: it is a chaotic metropolis and modern (15 million inhabitants), the majestic urban interventions (Revolution Square), the broad streets of communications are the sign of a megalopolis in continuous growth.

The museums to visit are:

The Archaeological museum full of exhibits that trace the history of the country, with the extraordinary collection of  pottery and the Persianstatuary .The Museum of Glass and Ceramics, in a modern setting, the collection of glasses is small but very interesting for quality and choice. The Carpet Museum collects in a modern home (built by the former Empress Farah Diba), an overview of all types of carpets in Iran.

In the afternoon transfer to the airport and departure for Shiraz, arrival at the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: SHIRAZ – PERSEPOLIS – SHIRAZ (120 km.)

In the morning have breakfast and excursion to Persepolis Spring Palace built by Darius I in 518 BC to celebrate the holidays  of the new year. The huge platform , covered with bas reliefs represent all the people who were part of the Persian Empire. Before Darius and then Xerxes had made to flow in Persia the best craftsmen of their world, to build a building that was supposed to be the epitome of architecture and sculpture of the Mesopotamian regions.

The visit continues with Naqsh-e Rostam , site of the tombs of the first Emperors: Darius the Great, Xerxes, Artaxerxes I and Darius II.

 After lunch, visiting Shiraz the town which known for its gardens and its mild climate. We will visit the tomb of the great poet Hafez, Vakil complex( Vakil Mosque, the beautiful Vakil Bazaar and the Caravansera). Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: SHIRAZ – YAZD (400 km)

Breakfast and departure for Yazd on the way stop to visit Pasargadae, the first capital of the Achaemenid  with its tomb legendary founder Cyrus the Great.

In the afternoon arrival  in Yazd, by the color of the clay, is on the edge of two deserts: The Dasht-e-Kavir and Kavir-e-Lut and  famous for its Badghir  among the characteristics Ventilation towers on the roofs of houses .

Day 5: YAZD

Breakfast and visit  the city of Yazd, visiting the Temple of Fire, where the Zoroastrians still  celebrate their religious rites today , and the Jame mosque in the beautiful square of Miciakhnaq with the water tank and the mosque, Visiting   bazaar, the old quarter of Fahadan protected by UNESCO, the madrasa Zaiaieh famous as a prison of Alexander and the Cenotaph of the Twelve Imams, the monument more old city dating back a thousand years ago, the Towers of Silence dakhmeh, and the old Zoroastrian cemetery conclude the visit.

Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: YAZD – NAIN – Isfahan (330 km.)

Breakfast and departure for the ancient Nain visiting Masjed-e Jame mosque and the old section. Lunch and departure for Isfahan , City of “A Thousand and One Nights.”

Day 7 :  Isfahan

Visiting the city one of the most picturesque in the world. An Old Persian proverb says, “If you want to see the world just Venice and Isfahan.” For centuries the city has been a crossroads of commerce. Merchants and artisans have given impetus lit, over the centuries, the building of the city are full of culture and elegant, that leaves you breathless for the beauty of its countless monuments. The period of greatest splendor and its ancient history, it was, without doubt, the reign of Abbas (1587-1629), Safavid ruler who built mosques, palaces and mansions of fine workmanship, Isfahan transforming into a center of art and of great cultural importance.

In the afternoon visiting  the magnificent square, the Imam Mosque and the Bazaar. Dinner in a traditional restaurant. Overnight.

Day8:  Isfahan

Breakfast and continuation of  visiting  the city: the Armenian Quarter with its churches and cathedrals, the famous bridges Sio-se pol Khajou and magnificent architecture, the Friday Mosque, the bustling bazaar and various other monuments desired by the Shah Abbass and successors Safavids. Lunch and return to the hotel in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight

Day9: Isfahan-KASHAN – Qom (300 km.)

Departure by bus to Qom, on the way  we will visit Kashan famous for the production of glazed ceramic, and for all his crafts. Lunch and visit  the villas of the nineteenth-century Iran: bioclimatic dwellings dug into the ground (and Brigerdiha Tabatabii) Also visit the hill of Sialk what is called the “cradle of civilization” and the garden of Fin and where was crowned the big Shah Abbass.

Departure for Qom , arrival at the hotel. Dinner and overnight

Day 10:  QOM-ITALY

In the morning breakfast ,  transfer to airport and departure for Italy.

5 – Yazd

6 – Yazd – Desert Village Garmeh

 Morning departure for a journey into the past through the most ‘great desert of Iran “Dasht e Kavir Desert.” The path is ‘very charming and the view and’ a succession of colorful mountains, until you reach the quiet simplicity ‘of Garmeh, a tiny village that lies at the heart of an oasis. And ‘just as you may expect:  A small source of water allows the growth of more than 25 varieties’ date palm.Where the palms begin the houses of the old village. Tehran-Ahvaz-Shiraz-Persepolis-Pasargad-Yazd-Nain-Esfahan-kashan-Ghom

Fantastic country with ancient history which has deep root in custom, interjection of religions and civilizations with enchanting natural views and cultural, ancient and artistic precious wills. An artistic and historical place beside JadeAbrisham (Silk Road) with a thousand years empires of the east. It is an enchanting ancient world which has the taste and the smell of many of the nations and the smell and the perfume of many artists and poets and thinkers and also mystics and still there are pictures in Persepolis walls, Mosques in Shiraz an Esfahan and Museum hall in Tehran.

The first day – Italy-Tehran

After about 4:30 hoursin the plane we land in Emam Khomeini Airport and transferred to the hotel.

Second day: Tehran-Ahwaz

Morning exit in the way to Esfahan to visit Narian Organ of the ancient city of Meibod with construction related to 3000 before Islam revolution. Dinner and one night stay.

9th day: Esfahan

3 Tehran – Zanjan

Morning departure for the city of Zanjan about 36 km before arriving in Zanjan visit to the dome Soltaniehe, the ancient capital of the Mongol Ilkanidi reigned in Iran in the 14 th century. In 2005, UNESCO listed Soltaniyeh as one of the World Heritage sites.

4 Zanjan – Torono of Solomon – Hamedan

Takht-e Soleyman is situated in a valley and includes the remains of a Zoroastrian temple partially rebuilt during the said period of the Illkhans, and a temple of the Sassanid era (sixth century) dedicated to Anahita. As with other archaeological sites of Iran, the structure of the Temple of the fire, the building and in general of all these buildings is thought to have heavily influenced the development of Islamic architecture.

According to popular tradition, King Solomon had a habit of imprison monstrous creatures in a deep crater near about 100 meters, said Zendan-e Soleyman (Solomon’s Prison). In another crater within the same city is a natural spring, which according to legend was founded by Solomon himself. Since, however, the figure of Solomon belongs to the Semitic cultures, all these references to his person may have originated during the Islamic conquest of Persia. An Armenian manuscript dating from the fourth century and which speaks of Jesus and Zarathustra mentions the source. It is thought that the Fire Temple was built at that site just because the legend linked to the source.

Archaeological excavations have revealed traces of a previous occupation dating from the fifth century BC during the Achaemenid period, as well as later settlements of populations Parthian. Were also discovered coins belonging to the Sasanian period and the Byzantine Emperor Theodosius II (V century). According to legend, each Sassanid king went here to humble himself before the altar of the sacred fire, before ascending to the throne.
